Showing a list of events on home page widget

I’ve just started using this plugin after trying two others out that just didn’t do what I wanted (recurring events and my own timezone).
However, it’s not presenting nicely on the home page. It’s putting lines between each entry. Why are they there and how do I get rid of them?
