Support » Plugin: Admin Menu Editor » Show/hide menus based on user capabilities, roles or user names.

  • Greetings and thanks for the free version of your great plugin!

In the description for the “Pro version” you list:

-Show/hide menus based on user capabilities, roles or user names.

To be clear, with the Pro version I could set Subscribers to not see the custom menu and still have it available for those higher on the food chain?

    Thanks in advance

    Sure, you could do that.

The way it works in the Pro version is that there’s a list of roles a the top of the menu editor. When you click on a role (e.g. “Subscriber”) the plugin displays a checkbox to the left of each menu item. You can then show or hide menus from the selected role by checking or un-checking the appropriate boxes.

Here’s an example screenshot (more here).

    Cool. That’s perfect! ~thanks.
