    Hi,

I’ve obtained the Pro version of your plugin. The reason why is that I wanted a Showcase Carousel.

Now, I have to admit, I didn’t exactly read everything about this plugin and the upgrade, and was simply expecting an option to click (something simple) to switch to the Showcase Carousel type.

However, upon installing the plugin and activating the licence, I have found that little, if anyting, about the plugin appears to have changed and cannot see an option for ‘Showcase Carousel’ anywhere on the screen.

    I went to this page:

    https://edgewebpages.com/showcase-carousel-demo/

and looking at the image of ‘Items Displayed’, there is clearly a ‘check box’ for the option ‘Showcase Carousel’. This is missing on my page. All I can see is ‘Hero Slider’.

Either the plugin isn’t working properly, or I’m expected to do something fancy with the CSS code on that demo page… I hope it’s the former…

I’d appreciate some pointers as to how to get this sorted. Thanks.

I also want to use it in Elementor, so a tip on how best to do that would be appreciated…

    Edit 2:

Ideally, I’d like to use this with 3D FLIPBOOK. Is it possible, compatible? My attempts, so far to use the SLIDE POPUP feature (SHORTCODE) with 3D FLIPBOOK is not going great…

Here’s the link for a page I’m working on (I got 3D FLIPBOOK working, too):

Ideally, I want to have several images displayed at the same time – like the demo ‘Showcase Carousel’, which , at the minute, I can’t seem to do..

    Thanks.

Hi, to see the “Showcase Carousel’ option, your ‘Items Displayed’ must be greater than 1 (‘Desktop X-Large’, ‘Desktop Large’, ‘Desktop Small’ etc).

So try setting these to 3 – with a SC carousel you can typically have 3 slides, with the leftmost & rightmost slides partially visible.

Instructions on creating a showcase carousel can be found on this page:

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I adjusted the setting and Showcase Carousel option did appear…

Is there a manual, or more detailed instructions, somewhere for the plugin?

    If you look at:

    https://millennialdawn.faith/zions-watch-tower/

You will see the results of changing the carousel type. What I’m now trying to figure out is how to get the images a bit closer together… I’ve fiddled about with various padding settings, but it doesn’t seem to do much. Any pointers as to how to get images closer would be great.

    Otherwise, thanks for the assist.

    Edit:

So, more fiddling and it appears that the size of the slide is fixed. I can change the background colour of a slide (slide background), or even set an image as the slide itself. However, I’d love to know if it’s possible to reduce the size of the slide itself.

As can be see in the link I provided, I used the ‘editor’ to insert an image into the slide – width=”100″. But, again, I don’t know how, or if it’s even possible to reduce the gap between these images (not ‘slide background’). I guess this has something to do with slidebackground – is that size fixed and unchangeable?

If necessary, I might just create slightly larger images and set the backgrund image to the image instead of inserting an image into the editor and resizing it…

    Thanks for any pointers.
