[Resolved] Show Title if format is "Quote" or "Link"

  • Hi all
    I’d like that on an archive-page like that one, the title of the posts is shown. Same issue for the Link-Format of post.
    Is that possible?
    Thanks!
    Leon

    Hi Leon, those titles are actually present in the code but just hidden with CSS. You can unhide them on archives pages by adding this custom CSS:

    .archive .site-content .format-link .entry-title,
    .archive .site-content .format-aside .entry-title,
    .archive .site-content .format-quote .entry-title {
    	display: block !important;
    }

    If you don’t want the title showing for the aside post format in addition to quote and link, just remove this line:

    .archive .site-content .format-aside .entry-title,

    If the code works without !important then you can remove that.

    Don’t edit the theme files directly, otherwise your changes will be overwritten when the theme is updated.

    An easy way to add custom CSS like this is to install the Jetpack plugin and activate the Custom CSS module. You could also install a standalone custom CSS plugin, or create a child theme.

    Let me know how it goes.

    Hi Kathryn
    It works great!
    Thanks alot.
