Support » Plugin: OpenTickets Community Edition » “Show this ticket” link redirects to post page

  • Hi all,

    I’ve just set up a new WP installation. After installing the latest version of Woocommerce and OpenTickets plugin and trying out a regular purchase process, I’ve noticed that the link, which is contained in the “customer-completed-order” E-Mail:

    “Show this ticket” redirects the user to my configured static “post page” where all blog posts are collected.

    After checking the network traffic, the web server responds with a 200 – it seems that all requests which have the structure: will get redirected to my configured, static blog post page. I don’t know why…

    It doesn’t matter what I put after the path ticket/ – it will always direct to the post page.

    However, the link “Show all tickets on one page” which is above and below the event details works but also has another URL structure, though:

    Do you have any idea how to tackle the issue?

    Thanks a lot in advance and best regards,

    @desk-box Hello Benjamin,

    That is a strange result.

    Couple questions: Did you customize the permalink for the events? It is possible that another plugin is conflicting with the permalink structure. Try saving Permalinks and see if that solves it.

    Also, we really need to see examples. Understood if you can’t post here, but perhaps we can get a login, or using the methods above in the Sticky post, perhaps we can schedule an online call or you can create a login for us to take a look?

    We’d like to help, but without examples it’s hard to know what the issue is.

    Hi, sure – I can create a login. To which email address shall sent the credentials?

    Best regards,
