I successfully created a survey/poll for “What features would you like to see?” and it’s collecting inputs. But someone who goes to answer the poll can’t see what’s already been input. Is there not a way to show the previously suggested items, so that someone can add a vote for that item? Otherwise we’ll end up with a bunch of (separate) differently worded options for the same thing.
Most presumably, you have chosen the Text Poll type, due to which, the previous answers are not displayed for you.
If you want to display the previous answers, then, please select the Choosing Poll type and enable the Allow custom answer option. By this, the users can choose from already available options or add their own answer options.
You are correct. But it looks like this will only allow 1 vote..? We’re trying to collect recommendations for requested features, so we were hoping to allow people to choose more than one.
In order to achieve your desired result and allow users to choose more than one answer option, please go to the Polls > particular poll > Settings tab and tick the Allow multivote option. Then, specify the Min and Max values.
I want to mention, that we made improvements in regard to the Allow multivote option and added the Minfield for it as well. So, you can update the plugin to the latest version and check the feature.
Thank you.
