Can this work if I already got an events management system such as http://www.FiestaFrog.com ? The blog uses an ajax system and Im wondering if this will cause any conflicts in the code. Please let me know
Is that a new spam method?
Hi,
Just to make sure I follow – you want to create a preset option of searching all future events with a checkbox? Thanks.
At present I have many events in my system but all are past events. My search settings are for future only and hence the search is showing no events. If I select all events in the search settings I can see all events.
The fact is from UX point of view showing all events is not good. However sometimes you do want to see the past events. As the user cannot alter the search settings a simple checkbox option would be very beneficial to the UX.
See what I mean here: http://imm.io/14uN0
Thanks for the explanation. Sorry, but that’s not something you could do without quite a bit of custom coding.
The template you’d need to edit is
/plugins/events-manager/templates/templates/events-search.php
This link should help with customizing templates:

I realize that hence my initial post starts with “I wonder if you will consider”. It was a user feedback and a question.
