show only the column with the value of the search field and hide the other colum

    Hello
    is it possible to enter a certain keyword in the search field and when this keyword is available in the first table row (header) it should only show this column and hide the other columns?
    When the hide function is not possible it also will helps to highlight this complete column with the searched keyword.
    All help will appreciate.

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I see what you mean, but unfortunately, I don’t know a solution to this. From all I know the search function of the DataTables JS library can only filter by rows and hide/show rows, but not columns.

    Can you give me the explanation how itvw
    Works to filter a row and hide/show this.
    Then I will try to change my table options.

    Hi,

    that’s the default search function. When you type in something, only the rows that have the filter word are visible, the others are hidden.
