Hi! Our woocommerce store has a lof of variations with respect to color. For eg., there is green, algae green, fresh greenWhen I see the shop page it shows a full list of colors, i.e., all the shades of green. Is there a way to show only the primary color – green and hide all the others? And, when we filter with respect to green color, it should filter and show all the shades/variations of green. Is this possible with this plugin? Also, when I added the colors on the product page as attibutes and then created the variations, the color swatches are not visible on the product page. Also, the attributes and the variations disappear when I save the product page. Please see the screenshots below:

    Hi Snehal,

Sorry for the delayed response. You can definitely assign a parent color when creating a new color or editing an existing one. So you could, for example, create all those shades of green as children to a main color called green. However, there is currently no way to hide the child colors in the filtering sidebar until the main one is clicked. It’s a neat idea, though, and I’ll note it down for consideration in a future update.

As for the display on the product page and the use in variations, those are options only available in the premium version, discussion of which is not allowed in these forums (https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines/#do-not-post-about-commercial-products). Please get in touch with us via email or our website (https://www.etoilewebdesign.com/support-center/) and we’ll be happy to assist in using the premium version.
