show only approved posts in list

I’m working on a page where clients can submit resumes for a cv-database. When they submit the cv they share some information which should not all be available to the public – and when they submit they should choose whether their post should be public accessible or not.

But how is it possible to only show post in the list which is ‘approved’ either by the user himself or by an administrator? Is their some sort of way to only show post that fulfils some criteria.
