Show one post with links below

    Hi all,

    Is there any way I can set a theme to show the latest post at the top with links to previous posts directly below that?

    I can obviously set it to show 1 post only, but its getting the links below which is leaving me cold. I keep searching but instructions on various places seem unclear.

    I would like this layout…

    New post

    then below up to 10 previous posts in this format

    title (as link to post), number of comments, date of posting.

    Please can anyone help me?
