    Hi,

    Show once per session does not work

    I have set the interval between sessions to 1440 to show the pop up only once a day to the same user, but it doesn’t work, whenever you return to the main page it is shown.

    Can you help me?

    Thank you for the topic. 

    We have checked your website, however, we couldn’t find the page where the popup is being displayed. 
    So, please provide us with the link, where the given popup is located for further investigation.

    Also, please provide us with screenshots of the options of the “General”, “Settings”, and “Limitation Users” tabs for further checking. 

    By the way, we have checked and noticed that you are currently using the WP Optimize Cache plugin. 

    So, firstly, you can make a DB backup for your safety (you can use UpdraftPlus).
    Then, clear all the caches and check whether the issue persists or not. 

    Also, make sure that it does not store a strong cache and that the webpage where the popup is located does not become static(HTML)
    Check whether deactivate PHP cache is ticked from the settings of the cache plugin or not. 
    If yes, then please deactivate it.

    Please check this and let us know about the outcome.

    Hi Jasmin,
    Thank you for your speed and kindness in answering.

    As the problem continued, in principle we have chosen to install a different plugin, which does not have those incompatibilities with the cache and with WP Optimize.

    The truth is that we are happy with your POPUP BOX plugin and it works very well on other websites where we have installed it, it is a pity that it does not work on this one.

    Dear @anabsw,

    Thank you for your reply and nice words. 

    I want to mention, that the problem may occur for other Popop plugins as well, due to the cache. 
    If the PHP Cache is generated on your website via the Cache plugin, no functionality/logic can work there (for our case as well).

    Also, as you have mentioned above (we have checked and noticed that everything works fine on our end as well), the popup normally works on one page and doesn’t work on another. 
    Please note, that the popup with the same version can’t work differently on different websites. Based on this, the problem is not connected to our plugin. 

    So, you can try to understand which plugin causes this problem, by doing troubleshooting on your own and deactivating the plugins one by one on the website, where the following problem can be found.
    Surely make a DB Backup so as not to lose your data (you can use UpdraftPlus).
    You can deactivate the Cache plugin at the beginning. 

    By the way, we are ready to check this case for you and provide you with a solution that will make you happy. 
    For that, we have asked for particular information in our previous response.

    Hi Jasmine,

    Thank you very much for your answer and for involving yourself in the problem.

    Now the POPUPBOX plugin is disabled. But I activated it to take the screenshots you asked me for and you can see the configuration (in case the problem is that I did something in the configuration that prevents me from doing what I want):

    I have cleared the cache, in fact I do it every time I do things on the web.

    Now the POPUPBOX plugin has disabled it again.

    The problem that occurs is that we wanted it to only appear on the main page (home) and once the user closes the pop up, it did not appear until the next day for that user.
