show login / sign option instead of display “You must be logged in to checkout”

    Hello!

    I have a question when setting up my checkout.

    I would like to force users to have an account or create it before making the purchase. In other words, instead of displaying the message “You must be logged in to checkout.” show login / sign in the same as in my acount.

    I currently have deactivated:
    Allow customers to place orders without an account
    Allow customers to log into an existing account during checkout
    Allow customers to create an account during checkout

    With the configuration you propose, it allows me to create the account after billing details http://mhou.es/img/checkout.png, but what I am looking for is that it allows me to login / signin before this http://mhou.es/img/login-signin.png

    Is there any way?

    Ah, sorry for misunderstanding that, and thanks for clarifying!

    You’d need to look into a plugin (not aware of one) or code that would allow that functionality for you.

    The discussion here has a bit more information.

    Otherwise, you could look at a plugin like this to force users to register or login before they can view your shop (maybe not ideal, but that may be a workaround that could meet your needs).
