    Hi,

    I have just installed your Founders theme and I really like it, thank you for providing it.

    There is however one thing I am struggling with. On a page that has a list of posts from a category, I want to only show a list of posts that fall into this category, with links to the full post (I’ve managed to remove the featured image and caption already). I want to now make the size of the names of the posts much smaller, so they look like one ordered list, and remove all additional things. I want it to be as simple and neat as the ‘Recent posts’ widget provided. Would this be possible to do please?

    Many thanks
    Cake

    Hi again,

    I’ve found an example, just like this person has done: https://www.mindbodygaming.com/archive/

    Is this automatically setup or has the person done that manually?

    Thanks

    Thanks for using Founder!

    If you’d like to use this approach for an archive page, then start by publishing a regular Page from your dashboard. Then inside the editor, add the Latest Posts block to list the posts like in a widget. That’s how the site you linked to created this design.

    Many thanks Ben for the prompt reply!

    I wanted separate pages with list of posts in different categories, so one page for example on the posts about chocolate cake and the other about carrot cake. Would this be possible to do in the free/pro version?

    Also with his home page, did he manage to do it like that because he has the pro version? Also are you still offering 50% discount to upgrade to pro?

    Thanks!

    Yup, that’s doable with the free version of Founder. You would publish a page called Chocolate Cake and include the latest posts widget and use the category option to select only posts in the chocolate cake category. This can be repeated as many times on as many pages as you’d like.

    As for the homepage, I’m pretty sure he’s using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-gutenberg/

    You can create a custom homepage like that with a similar block plugin or with the Elementor page builder plugin.

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks so much for all your help! I have managed to re-design the website.

    The final question I had was I wanted to make the main menu text larger. Is there any way to do that please?

    Thanks

    Glad to hear it!

    That can be done easily with the following CSS snippet:

    .menu-primary {
      font-size: 21px;
    }

    Please copy & paste the code above into the “Additional CSS” section in the Customizer (Appearance > Customize), and it will take effect right away.

    I should also mention that Founder Pro recently got a Font Size feature that lets you change the size of the primary menu for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices separately.
