Show last day posts

Hi!
I’m trying to build up a pemplate which shows posts only for the last day.
So, if I write a post today, it shows the post. But, if I don’t post for two or three days, it wil shows posts of two or three days before.

Hope I’ve explained it well. I tried to use query_posts, which appears to me the simplest solution, but I got no idea how to get the date the last posts were inserted.

Any idea/advice on that?
