I assume that “events” in sugar calendar are a custom post type.
Other custom post types appear separately in the wp admin panel but this doesn’t seem to be so for SC ,at least with the Freedom theme. That is the way other event managers and custom post generator plugins work.
I assume that this could be changed via the plugin files additional CSS but don’t have the knowledge to do this.
    Is it possible?
    Thanks

  • Hey Mark, apologies for the delay in the reply here but I hope this reaches you well. We’ve had some big changes recently after the acquisition from Awesome Motive and have some exciting plans for Sugar Calendar.

As for your question, you are correct that we store the custom post type ‘sc-event’ within the Sugar Calendar ‘Calendar’ menu and not separately as other plugins might typically do. Unfortunately, this would require some custom work to move this and it may be best to leave it untouched. I don’t have any news to share at this moment but we are planning some updates for Sugar Calendar. Until then, I would recommend leaving this but if you have any questions, just let me know.

    Thanks!

    Hi @markburton52,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like any further assistance, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
