Show Custom Taxonomy Metadata for Children on Parent

I’m trying to show custom taxonomy metadata for child term/s on the Custom Taxonomy page of its/their parent term. I’m currently providing a link to the child term/s using wp_list-categories, like so:

Other albums by Artist X:
Album 1
Album 2
Album 3

I’d like to also echo each child/album’s Release Date, which is called elsewhere in the template by $array['release_date_meta'].
The result would be:

Other albums by Artist X:
Album 1 – 01/02/2003
Album 2 – 19/09/2004
Album 3 – 11/05/2009

I suppose I’ll need a foreach loop for each of the children, but I’m struggling to reach that stage.
What’s the best way to do this?
