    I have some intro text on each categories pages. I use pagi navi plugin so I can split the category post in several pages.

    What should I do so I can have the intro text to be shown "only" on page 1 of each category?

    I know that having a intro text is a good SEO practice, but I also assume that having that all same text on cat/ cat/page/2, etc is really bad for seo, and probably worst then having no intro text at all.

    I'm still a wordpress noob, so I would really aprecciate some help about what shoud I edit (I assume it would be archive.php?) and what to change/add to the code.

    Here's one of the category pages of my site.

    use the conditional tag is_paged() http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_paged

    <?php if( !is_paged() ) : ?>
    intro text
    <?php endif; ?>

    Hello alchymyth,

    Thank you for your time and help.

    May you please tell me where should I add that code? I mean, after/before what code.

    Thank you again.

    I would guess you can find the code for the intro text in category.php or your theme - possibly something with category_description() http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/category_description

    however, as you are using a theme which is not from http://wordpress.org/themes/, you will need to contact your theme's developer for support with any details.
