• Hi there,

Great plugin! This is the best search plugin I’ve used to date, but just had a couple of quick questions.

Firstly, is it possible to show archive pages within the search results? At the moment, pages and posts all show up fine, but if I have a post type called “Vacancies” (with an archive of the same name), nothing comes back for that search.

On that note, is there a way to display all posts for the post type I’ve typed in? E.g. could typing in “Vacancies” show every post for that post type? It seems to only search based on the page name or content in the page at the moment.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Thank you for your kind words!

I’m afraid this is not possible. The archive pages are not actual pages stored in the database with content to search for, those are kind of “views”, which can be accessed on certain URLs. WorPress core then resolve these urls and serve the archive pages based on a template.

The other one is not possible either, but not a bad idea at all. I’m not sure if that is actually possible, but I will note it as a possible feature request for the upcoming release.
