I have just installed wordpress via 123.reg, to them go to my site which looks like this http://www.ldesigntest.co.uk/. Is there supposed to be a theme that is already installed?

If not what do I have to do to get a theme working?

Also when i go to the 'log in' part i just takes me straight back to the same page again...

Any help and guidance appreciated :-)

  2. You installed wordpress at http://www.ldesigntest.co.uk//Lornatest/wordpress/ rather than http://www.ldesigntest.co.uk, which is root. And you installed with a doubleslash in the URL. So you're not seeing the full default theme and that's also the login problem.

I'd delete everything and install in root, not in Lornatest/wordpress/

So, is it best to install to the root folder and not to a separate wordpress subfolder? Thanks!

I have tried to install it onto the root server and now it just comes up with page not found - 404
