Should I use XML sitemaps plugin if the blog is not the entire site?

    Hi,

    My wordpress blog is located under the site.com/blog section of my website. It is the only part of the website that regularly updates with new info.

    Since I haven’t found a sitemap solution that will spider my main site and all wordpress pages, I am thinking of creating the static part of the site in one sitemap, and using the wordpress sitemap plugin for the blog section. 2 sitemaps is not as good as one, but I’m not sure how else to do it.

    Do you guys think this strategy will even work?
