• I am an antiques dealer with a new-ish blog. My desire is to have a page or pages with an assortment of items for sale (one of a kind items) in a gallery format, broken down into different categories of items (furniture, ceramics, lamps, etc)
When a customer clicks on an item thumbnail I would like to be able to have that access several more photos of the item as well as a description and price.
I have talked to several designers about doing this custom for me, and the prices I have gotten are quite high. I have also had both Nexgen and WP e-commerce recommended to me. I have now downloaded both of these plugins and looked them over a little bit.
Which one should I use?? E-commerce seems more designed for someone with a store selling lots of the same items (t-shirts, or whatever) But nexgen seems designed primarily to show off pretty pictures. AUGH.
    Any help would be appreciated.
