Hi Cybersyn Team, in settings you have an option called “store images locally”
is that something you should be doing? What’s the advantage?

Or what could be the problem if I don’t and just show the image from the original source?

I’m trying to understand the value on doing this or whether I should do it at all since not doing it has the benefit of me not using server space.

Please let me know your thoughts or recommendations. Thanks!

I can’t answer to this question. In some cases people prefer to hotlink the images (e.g. to save the disk space), in other cases they prefer to keep everything at their own host. Is is a matter of your own choice only.

    Hi @cyberseo

I have unchecked the option to store images locally but it still stores the images to my media gallery. How do I disable it? Or can I specify a custom directory on my server to stores the images elsewhere. I don’t want the images stored in my gallery.

    Kind Regards,
    Harvinder
