Should I smush all images in Gallery by Supsystic plugin?

    Hi,

    I need to make sure a couple things before using it. I use the Supsystic gallery plugin and don’t know if it optimizes all images but should I smush them all for the gallery? I want to keep image quality as much as possible.

    Most of my images are 1~4MB. If possible I want to keep the image’s pixel width and height for larger monitor, then optimize the file size. Does the free version do that?

    Free version of Smush plugin offers only lossless image optimization which optimize your images in a way where no quality is lost.

    Free version also offers smushing of images up to 1MB and doesn’t include full size images.

    Pro version of the plugin offers super-smush option which will further optimize your images with little to none quality loss.
    It also supports optimization of full size images and imges that are up to 32MB.

    Pro version sounds nice but the monthly charge is too much for me since I upload 0~2 images per month. Can I use Pro version and pay for 1 image at a time instead of monthly payment?

    If I try free trial of Pro version and smush all, can I keep all those smushed images after the trial if I decide to discontinue?

    We do not currently have the option to pay by the image. If you use the Pro version and decide to cancel you can most definitely keep all the images you Smush. 🙂
