should i delete my redirection log

  • My redirection log has 342 items. Is this something I should delete for performance or never delete because it’s important to keep them. I’m new, so I’m still learning. My permalinks have change a couple times in the first few weeks of putting up the site. Had the date in them, then no date, then postname, etc. I didn’t realize I was causing a problem. Google webmaster showed all the crawl errors, so I’ve been redirecting the old page URL’s to the new ones. Just wanted to check if I should delete the logo now?

    Thanks for your help

  • Set and forget. Under the Options page of the configuration panel look for: Expire Logs setting. Set this to what ever you like. I have mine set to 7 days.
