I was going to use the free templates to test things out but I couldn’t get pass the upgrade “request” asking for $17. The two basic templates are there for show but one can hit the keyboard until the keys fall out, the free templates are not available. I am sure some users love your templates and are willing to pay for your service. Why not just be honest and let your happy paid customers vouch for you?

@alpearce, are you getting any errors when trying to choose “Basic Template”?

Because this template is available in the free version.
And it can be customised with different colours and styles to fit your website design.

We would be happy to look into this and see what’s causing this.

    Please let us know.

No, I didn’t get an error message. I could switch between the two basic templates but it wouldn’t let me publish either one of them. Each time I tried to publish the poll, it asked me to choose a template. I did but a window popped up asking to upgrade to pro for $17. If I closed the window, it asked me to choose a template again. I kept going in circles and got nowhere but meeting the $17 request. That’s not free in my book.

    Thank you for your feedback.

We have been trying to replicate this behaviour on our end with no luck so far.
Every time we choose Basic Template and click on “Use and customize” button we can save the poll without being asked to upgrade.

Would it be too much to ask to help us troubleshoot this?

    Thank you.
