# Shorter URLs

 * Hi,
 * Does anyone have a recommendation on a good plugin or way to shorten URLs in 
   WordPress? I’d like to be able to set pages like [https://www.fbcsudbury.org/ministries/community/youth/](https://www.fbcsudbury.org/ministries/community/youth/)
   to fbcsudbury.org/students. The page “Students” wouldn’t actually exist but is
   a much easier way to promote and remember the page.
 * I have used the Redirection plugin, but it doesn’t always seem to work well.

 * I recommend using one of the many [custom permalink plugins](https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/custom+permalink/)
   for modifying your URLs, or trying a different [redirection plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/redirect/).
