# Shortcodes won't save

 * Hi,
    I’m having trouble with a shortcode I created. I’m using it to implement
   the Graceful Pullquotes ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/graceful-pull-quotes/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/graceful-pull-quotes/))
   plugin, so the shortcode wraps content with <span class=”pullquote”> before and
   </span> after. I added the shortcode with a button in the visual editor so that
   my editors who aren’t as familiar with code can add pullquotes inside posts.
 * If I select select and wrap a sentence at the end of a paragraph, it works fine,
   but if I select any other sentence (earlier in the paragraph), when I save the
   post, the whole phrase (including the [do action][/do] disappears.
 * Can you think of why this would be happening? Sometimes if I re-add the text 
   I can get the page to save, but it’s frustrating since I don’t want to explain
   this to all my editors.
