Shortcodes In Twenty Fourteen

    I cannot seem to get any short codes or embed in this theme. Could not embed soundcloud, NGG gallery shortcodes not working in pages, [display-posts category="events"] doesn’t work, and several others.

    I have done some research, and it’s possible the static pages do not support this. All my pages are static except the blog. hmmm.

    Ephemera shows no data. My site will be image heavy and I will need to add a lot of galleries and will also contain music, audio & video. Any tips would be wonderful. Thank you.

    I have erased the ones that were not working. Let’s see what I can remember.

    Here’s one-not working [do_widget="nextGen Gallery: 03"]
    and another [gallery=03]

    If I need another plugin to use shortcodes on the TwentyFourteen theme, then please let me know. Thank you.

    was this ever resolved? I am having a similar issue with trying to display posts on a page with [display-posts category=”youtube” posts_per_page=”20″]
