    Hi EtoileWebDesign,

Wired here again, hope you can provide some guidance on how to remove a repeated message (e.g. “User has been successfully edited.”) that gets displayed in one page with multiple shortcodes. Currently my setup have a combination of shortcodes in different tabs. Is there a way to remove the repeated message that is not in the currently clicked submit btn without much modifications? Hope you can help out, thanks!

    Hi Wired,

For the most part, you shouldn’t use more than one of the shortcodes included with our plugin on the same page. This is because a lot of them query the same things. So, not only might you get duplicate or unintended messages like that, but it could actually end up not working properly because it runs the query for the wrong shortcode.

That being said, what are the two (or three or more) shortcodes you’re trying to use on the same page. Perhaps there might be a different way of organizing it to get it to function as you want.

    Hi Etoile,

Thanks for following through. The following shortcodes that I’m trying to use together are as follows:

    1. [edit-profile]
    2. [account-details]

I think the best method at this point is to remove the toggable tabs and to replace them with a sidebar navigation.

    Hi Wired,

For those two shortcodes, that would definitely be my suggestion. You also add a link to either of the pages, above your form, that says “to update your account details, click here” and vice versa.

    Hi Etoile,

Thanks for the prompt feedback! I ended up using separate pages to output the shortcode. Everything works as expected now.
