    Hi,

We have just done a Woocommerce update and noticed that since the update, the shortcodes within the Email Subject Line are not being showing data – but show the shortcode itself.

    I have the following: [{site_title}] New customer order ({order_number}) – {order_date}

It literally sends that as the subject line as well. The following is a screenshot of the email in the mail client: https://snag.gy/KCyDRE.jpg.

Anybody is encountering the same and has a solution for this?

    Hey @zainvirgo,

Could you please check if this could be a theme or plugin conflict? If the theme is temporarily switched to Storefront and all plugins except for WooCommerce are deactivated, when placing a test order, does the email show correctly? Making a back up of your site and testing on a staging site is highly recommended.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
We too have faced same problem.

Is it Woo-commerce or some plugin that breaks and results in short code display on email.

    Thanks…

@magentomaster – please create your own thread so we can help you separately. These problems tend to be unrelated.

@zainvirgo – do you still need help with this?

    Hello Hannah,

Yes still have this issue, i did what yukikatayama said, but did’t help. Now i rolled back Woocommerce version, if it work fine then will be clear this problem came after woocommerce update.

    Thanks

    Hey there,

We’ve had information that this is a problem with WPML:
    https://wpml.org/forums/topic/woocommerce-email-issue-with-last-version-4-2-10/

Are you using WPML by any chance?

    Thread Starter zainvirgo

    (@zainvirgo)

Exactly i’m using WPML plugin. Now it is clear having the issue because of that plugin. I will contact them to fix this issue.

    Thanks a lot.
