Support » Plugin: Elementor Page Builder » Shortcodes in Elementor are smaller than it should be

  • Hello,

When I insert any 3rd party shortcode into Elementor then it’s smaller than it should be comparing to the situation when I paste the same shortcode directly in frontpage file. It looks like 10% in elementor is like real 9%. Have you noticed the same problem? What can be source of this problem.

What is the 3rd party plugin that generates the shortcode? If the shortcode displays text then you may want to disable Elementor’s font (and perhaps colors).
Dashboard > Elementor > Settings > tick the Disable Global Fonts > Save Changes. Doing so will allow your theme’s font settings to be used, and probably why when placing directly into the WP editor, they show fine 🙂

    Cheers!
    Lyle

It was caused by box-sizing: border-box
