I’m not sure, but it looks like the “Code Escaping” options are not enabled. If code is not escaped it will look like the first screenshot. I’m not sure what’s going on in the second screenshot.

While writing tutorial, I use shortcodes and the shortcodes in printing inside prismatic code.

It sounds like something is interfering with normal functionality. The only way to find the cause of the issue is to do some basic troubleshooting of your theme and plugins. I would be glad to provide a guide if it will be useful for you.

Here is a free guide that explains how to troubleshoot WordPress. Specifically for this case focus on the sections for troubleshooting “Plugins” and “Themes”. Let me know if any questions, glad to help.

Yeah like I said, that does not happen normally (on default WP setup). So most likely there is something interfering, like some other plugin or maybe something the theme is doing. As explained the best/quickest way to figure it out is to do a bit of troubleshooting.

Sorry to say but I couldn’t fix the issue so I moved from Prismatic to Code Syntax Block. The Code Syntax Block plugin fixes all the problems as I faced earlier.
    Thank you.

Ok that works. Glad you found a solution that works for your particular setup. Gonna go ahead and mark this thread as “resolved” to help keep things organized. Feel free to post again with any further questions, feedback, etc. Thank you.
