Is there a shortcode to display some basic figures to visitors (only the number, I would write the text myself)? This would be a nice feature.

overview delivers a small table with general page statistics, post can be used to get a single post’s stats. WP-Piwik does not offer to create figures at the pages frontend, but Piwik does.
