Shortcodes do not strip

Hello.

I’ve been experiencing an issue with the shortcodes on the excerpts.
They do not strip and they are always showing, even though I have the strip option enabled.

I’ve seen that others have the same issue with the plugin.
Is there a solution or an update coming?
