not at the moment – the settings lets you put them under the avatar
interesting idea though – where else are you thinking of? I may take a look at it
Well the problem s if you go to http://www.cruisehive.com/forums the theme as re-desigined the bbpress forum and need to place the code into manually under where the user avatar is. Any ideas how to do this? They did tell me to add a shortcode but you dont use them. Thanks for your very fast response
Sorry lots of typos in my past post!
Sorry for the delay in replying, been tied up with other coding
I have added a shortcode that will display as per settings, which presumably you’ll be using within php code in a statement such as
echo do_shortcode ('[display-counts]')
you can download this version from
http://www.rewweb.co.uk/bbp-topic-count-plugin/
If this works I’ll release it to the wordpress site as an official upgrade.
Come back either way !
The shortcodes are a great addition to your plugin but not working. Only shows the counts for the logged in user. How to show the counts for each user on the forum under their post avatar. As you can see from the following link it;s the same count for everyone. http://www.cruisehive.com/forums/topic/crew-member-sacked-for-posting-photos#post-4619
What code are you putting where?
I’m putting the following code under the member avatars:
<div class=”forum_count”>
Topics: <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[display-topic-count]’);?>
Replies: <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[display-reply-count]’);?>
</div>
But i want to display the counts for each user under their avatar on the forums.
Under each users avatar on the posts page
I uploaded an image so you can see:
http://www.cruisehive.com/?attachment_id=4703
Same counts for every user
yes the other codes are designed for other purposes.
The only one you need is
echo do_shortcode (‘[display-counts]’)
which will display in accordance with whatever you put in the settings
