    Hello @hcabrera,

I have a problem with the shorcode that I integrated in my page.
I impose a post limit to display only the limit does not apply and I do not understand why?

you can see here my shortcode

    [wpp range=’all’ limit=4 stats_views=1 order_by=”views” stats_comments=1 wpp cat=’4,1′ wpp thumbnail_width=300 thumbnail_height=180]

if you could help me it would be really nice

    Hi @janataweb,

Are you using a caching plugin on your website?

Also, you have wpp twice in there. Not sure if that affects anything but you’ll want to delete that:

    [wpp range='all' limit=4 stats_views=1 order_by='views' stats_comments=1 cat='4,1' thumbnail_width=300 thumbnail_height=180]

That’s odd. Your shortcode works fine for me (I removed the category filter though).

How exactly are you adding the shortcode to that page? (screenshots may help.)

    Hello Hector

I only used the shortcodes in two places on the page as you can see on the screen shot.

    screenshot

I also tried to remove the cat = but that doesn’t change anything it still shows me everything without limit

and in this configuration the code limit to 4 articles each category? or just what should the shortcode display 4 for all category ?

ps: How do you manage to add a screenshot directly in the message on the forum here ?

This doesn’t answer my question though 😛 How are you doing this? (As in describe the process step by step, tools you’re using for this, etc. Screenshots of your Page Edit screen may help.)

The forum allows you to insert <img /> HTML tags 😀

    Hello Hector,

    I am using DIVI.

as you can see in the two screen shots the two wpp shortcodes to display the most viewed articles in different categories

I add a text module, as you can see on the left of the screen there is my module where I have to put the shortcodes there and on the right it displays the results.

do you need something more ?

Nothing seems to be out of place (other than wpp being repeated a couple of times within the shortcodes, something I suggested should be removed) so I’m not really sure what’s going on. Unfortunately DIVI is a paid plugin and so there’s no way I can test the shortcode with it.

    Hector

maybe i can give you access to my site so you can look?

Unfortunately asking/offering site access is -and for good reasons- not allowed here. See: WordPress Forum Guidelines – The Bad Stuff…
