# Shortcode to set values

 * I know that you can use a URL to set field values, is there a way to do something
   similar with shortcode? For instance, if you have the same contact form on different
   pages – you could set some sort of ‘source’ value based on the page the shortcode
   sits on.

 * Currently we don’t have the option to set field values using the shortcode. I’ve
   noted that suggestion for our team to consider down the road.
