    Hi Michael,

I was a little premature with my comments on the shortcode documentation that I send yesterday <blush>.

[testimonialswidget_list category=”parent-category/sub-category”] lists all testimonials in the parent-category and ignores the sub-category slug completely.

I’ve tried numerous combinations – no speech marks, single and double forward and back slashes – all with no success.

    Can you assist?

    thanks,
    M

So just using the sub-category slug-name doesn’t work?

Are you positive you’re using the correct slug-name in case you might have same named categories?

That does work if the sub-category slug-names is unique.

You see I’m using a taxonomy where many of the sub-categories have the same slug-name just different parent categories.

I can revert to a flat taxonomy which will work, I just wanted to use the hierarchy functionality that was available.

    thanks,
    M

You’re to use the sub-category slug-name anyways. This is unique despite the sub-category name itself being like others.

There’s no problem here I feel. Just use the correct, unique sub-category slug-name.

    Child, child

    Child, child-2
    Parent, parent-3
