 * I am attempting to get the calendar (showcased monthly-preferrably) with my site.

   wild.sunderlandwebdesigns.com. I am having trouble getting the calendar to show.
   It keeps ‘breaking’ . Here’s the code I am working with: THE SHORTCODE SHOULD
   BE SHOWN IN BOLD
 * <div class=”boxrow clearfix”>
    <div class=”box box_1″> <div class=”box_content”
   >
 * <div class=”box_thumb”><img src=”[http://wild.sunderlandwebdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/About-Us.jpg&#8221](http://wild.sunderlandwebdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/About-Us.jpg&#8221);
   width=”248″ height=”194″ alt=””></div>
    <h3>About Us</h3><p>When a child opens
   a book, a whole new world opens up. And when that child can call that book his/
   her own, that world becomes even bigger.</p> </div> <div class=”box_bot”> [<span>Learn More</span>](http://wild.sunderlandwebdesigns.com/about)
   </div> </div>
 * <div class=”box box_2″>
    <div class=”box_content”> <h3>Calendar</h3> **[ai1ec
   view=”monthly”]** <img src=”[http://wild.sunderlandwebdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/The-Wild-Bookends-small.png&#8221](http://wild.sunderlandwebdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/The-Wild-Bookends-small.png&#8221);
   width=”248″ height=”130″ alt=””>
 *  </div>

   </div> </div> [raw][staff member=”275″ title=”Our Blog”][/raw] </div>

 * Can you define what you mean by “Breaking” please, as that could mean a lot of
   things? Also, what page are you putting this code on?
 * The page you select for the calendar in Ai1ec’s settings gets the calendar without
   the need of having to embed the shortcode. If you embed the shortcode on the
   calendar page as well, you WILL get unpredictable results (actual results depend
   on the theme, but it can be as simple as calendars appearing in calendars, to
   white screens of death).
 * If you want to set the default calendar view to Monthly, then you should change
   this in **Dashboard->Events->Settings –> Viewing Events**.
