# Shortcode plugin won’t update in customizer

 * I’ve been using your plugin for about 8 months with no issues. It is being used
   to display a stockticker widget and a ‘latest news’ menu on the sidebar of my
   front [page](https://www.gzolehana.com/) created with html (theme is optimizerWP,
   so this is a front page widget I edit during customize mode). I tried adding 
   a new item to my ‘latest news’, and the plugin won’t update the front page, the
   content simply stays the same and the customizer doesn’t indicate that there’s
   been any changes (ie it doesn’t acknowledge that there’s anything new to publish)
 * If I remove the plugin, and re-insert it, the space is occupied, but none of 
   the content appears. I’ve updated to the most recent version of the plugin, and
   I have the newest versions of my theme and wordpress, and the issue still persists.
   There are no issues updating any of my other front page plugin in customize mode(
   I’ve tested them) only the shortcode one :/ Please help!
