The shortcodes available with the current plugin are limited to a few areas, primarily for products and a few other forms. If you’re using the third-party email marketing integration MailChimp you can use their available plugin so that you can collect interested parties email addresses, which will have that effect. https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/
