# ShortCode not working with BBPRESS and additional plugins

 * I guess this is a general issue or maybe a security measure but i’m trying to
   make it work under bbpress forums and/or the bbpress notices plugins but it seems
   that no shortcode can be used inside bbpress!?
    Could you please help? thank 
   you!

 * If it’s no shortcodes at all that work then probably your best bet is to talk
   to [bbpress folks](http://bbpress.org/forums/).
 * As far as I know, bbpress topics/posts work the same way as comments, more or
   less, and, generally-speaking, you can’t put a shortcode in a comment. There 
   may be plugins out there that allow you to add a shortcode to a comment/bbpress
   post, but off the top of my head, I don’t know any. The folks who use bbpress
   every day (i.e. bbpress forums) may be able to direct you to a specific plugin
   that allows you to use shortcodes in bbpress posts a lot better than I could.

   but that may be just for bbpress shortcodes.

 * yes i thought that using shotcodes inside bbpress would not be possible and for
   a reason…
    my last request is for the “bbpress notices” plugin, i can’t use shortcodes
   with that eighter.
