Hi, this might be caused by a bug we are fixing in 4.0.1. I suggest that you try to replace the wp-includes/formatting.php file with this one https://core.trac.wordpress.org/export/HEAD/trunk/src/wp-includes/formatting.php
Also, please tell us which version of PHP you are using.

I already discover the solution for this.
We are working with a Dutch version of WP, so you have to translate the fields in Dutch. Administrator -> Beheerder

Hi there,
I am trying to have posts displayed on a page and was trying to use the shortcode [display-posts order="ASC"] but nothing happens. You only see the piece of code on the page.
Since this posts refers to shortcode not working in WP 4.0 I was hoping to find out what the issue is.
I uploaded the new formatting.php file as suggested above but there is no change. What am I missing?
