Shortcode not working

Hi,

I use the version 1.7.24 of WP Lyte, now I got troubles to display videos.

The shortcode is not working anymore. In the live preview i only see the httpv link.

Hi, just discovered after the update that I have the same problem on 2 different sites, there is a link, but no video. I deactivated the plugin, the video appeared. Please fix it. Thanks

I tested on a test site and shortcodes do seem to work for me, see https://futttakinstatest.kinsta.cloud/test-with-lyte-shortcode-for-stefan/ ?

I had also had a quick look at the HTML source of the page you linked, and that does not seem to be a LYTE embed, as there is no mention of LYTE but instead I see “yotuwp” mentioned, so it seems you’re using Yotuwp Easy Youtube Embed?

@silasveta2012 did you also use LYTE shortcodes to add the vids? can you make a screenshot of how it looks when LYTE is active but broken?

OK, I have seen it. Now can you make a screenshot of the editing screen so I can see how the video was added?

If I use the plugin Yotube all works fine. So I think this error belongs to wp lyte.

My site is WordPress 6.6.2 with Php 8.2.

current I don’t know if I have make y huge mistake,

I use the widget YouTube in my Gutenberg Editor, this is not the WP Lyte integration, is this right?

yes, that’s right, I didn’t embed anything special either, and everything played perfectly with the plugin, if this is the difficulty, and it’s worth redoing 700 posts with video (everything was fine in the previous version), then it’s better to continue without the plugin. Before that, everything suited me as the plugin integrated into the site

I use the Same Integration. But i think at rhis time this is not WP lyte this looks like a Widget from WordPress.

yes, but the plugin worked fine, why was it worth changing something radically that killed this good convenience?)

Now I rolled back to the previous version of the plugin and turned it on, everything became fine

yes, that’s right, I’ve been using standard youtube links since I started using the plugin, for several years now)
