# Shortcode not displaying content

 * Hi
    I am using a shortcode to display an rss feed, and the feed item content 
   is not displaying – I get the title, source, date but no content. Whereas if 
   I use a widget then the content displays. Is there something I can add to the
   shortcode to display the text as on the widget? thanks for any help!

 * Hi, are you using only the core plugin available here, or are you using one of
   the premium add-ons?
 * With just the core plugin you can achieve what you can see [in the first screenshot](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rss-aggregator/screenshots/).
   In order to import and display content alongside your titles and sources you 
   will need one or more of [our add-ons](http://www.wprssaggregator.com/extensions/).

 * ok… yes I’m just using the core plugin.
    Thanks for explaining that, I presumed
   it should do the same functionality as in the widget.
