Shortcode – Jetpack conflict

I’m using shortcode to pull up a listing of TAGS using Events Manager. I want to include a manually built gallery of photos that relate to the TAGS, using Jetpack to load them.

TAGS shortcode works fine on a page. The Jetpack gallery works fine on a separate page. But when I put the two together, TAGS shortcode appears to block the gallery.

Anyone with ideas how I can load both on one page?
