• I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I went to a page and inserted the shortcode [nlposts title=Developments title_only=false category=Developments auto_excerpt=true sort_by_date=true]

To display posts from the category “Developments”. But nothing showed up. Am I missing a step? I am a little unclear on what “Title” is supposed to be. I just want to post links and excerpts for all posts in the category “Developments” on a page within my site, including pagination.

    Hello,

Well the only thing I see a little off is the category parameter, there you must set the category slug, those are usually lowercase and without spaces, try category=developments and let me know if it works.

    Best regards.

I forgot to mention, if you want to display results per page, then the paginate=true and posts_per_page=x (where x is the number of posts to be displayed) parameters must be set.

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried all that and still nothing shows up. I am wondering if there is a step I skipped or if I am using the plugin incorrectly. I am trying to put the shortcode in a page within my site in order to display a list of posts within the same site.

Just to be sure, are you using this plugin in a WordPress Network? (Multisites) otherwise you must use Single Latest Posts which has a Lite version here: Single Latest Posts Lite this one works with WordPress single installations.

    Cheers.
