    Hi,

I would like to use shortcode [membership lever=”1″] to hide some text but is this must show me some message and buttons as specified in the ‘Advanced Settings’
under ‘Message for Logged-in Non-members’ and ‘Message for Logged-out Users’? or this doesn’t work with shortcodes?

I am looking some solutions like you have here if user is not a member and goes to this page: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/redirect-non-members-away-from-member-content/ (This page requires a PMPro Core Account or higher. Also login/register buttons)

This is a common request and a good idea: show the login/register information from the advanced settings tab when you restrict something with the shortcodes. We like the idea, but no plans to implement something like that soon.

As a work around, you can use 2 or 3 shortcodes to get a similar affect. If you set the level to “0” it will show up for non-members. If you set it to “-L” it will show up for logged out members. “-1″ will show it for all members or non-members not in level one.

So you can add a shortcode like this one above the one with your level 1 content (note you typo’d lever=”1″ instead of level=”1” in your example) to show the login/register link: https://gist.github.com/strangerstudios/9f97dd5a10206d7b3093
