Shortcode in widgets

The plugin works fine in a post but when using shortcode in a widget the navigation and slideshow functions are gone. It’s stuck on the first slide (Instagram) and although the navigations buttons turns up on hovering, nothing happens when you click them.

Anyone got a solution for this? It seems like a great plugin but I need to use it in widgets.
